Performance Initiatives is where fitness meets education. This sums up what goes on at this Savannah gymnasium, a not-for-profit organization dedicated to helping others, using athletics and fitness. https://pifitness.org/
Bottom-line, if donors don't give, young athletes will sit at home, unable to attend the national and world meets for which they have qualified. When a kid works hard and achieves success, we must fund the costs on very short notice. The lifters earn their success, but all are kids from stressed neighborhoods and schools, and all of whom are underserved.
